SCHWRI.7.KR BADLY IIURT Karl Schmelzer. formerly of this city, who has boon employed with a railway construction crew near Trommald. was badly Injured in an accident on Thursday mornintr of last week- He was working on a hitfh trestle. which collapsed and crashed to the srrounn. burying L;:.* under timbers and rails. Fellow workmen rescued him from the debris, unconscious, and a doctor was called. After be!nor restored to consciousness, the younc man was rushed to a hosnltal. where an examination made. It was found that* no bbneT were broken hut the hack and hips woro badly bruised. Mr- and Mrs. Frank Schmejzer and Mr. and M’-s. r-Mnrotte or this city were called to t'.ie youni* man’s bedside.
