The wife and family of the late William Miller, who died at Oak River on September 27th, desire through The Herald to thank the very many kind friends who sent them messages of sympathy sand cheer and floral tributes in the hour of sad bereavement. The many expressions of sympathy were too numerous to admit of in dividual replies. All these friends are requested to accept this acknowledgement as personally directed to themselves. The Oak River curling club has reorganized for the season with 16 members, and gives promise of hriving a prosperous winter. The office-bearers for 1902-2 are as fol lows: Patron, Hon. R. P.
