Hindered by illness on the part of defendants and the suspension of attorney A.R. Archer of Monahans, court proceedings in 143rd District Court Friday were almost nil, according to district attorney Larry Bar ber. On the agenda for Fri day’s session were a num ber of cases in which Archer was the attorney for de fendants in criminal cases and pre-trial hearings for Moss Bluff, La. resident Jeanette Franklin who is charged with the death of a Salt Flat man on or about April 7.
