Lubbock.Graveside services will be held in Commerce 3 p. m. Tuesday, with Clifton Laird. Church of Christ minister, officiating. Burial will be .in Rusemound cemetery.Mrs. O’Connor was born .Jan. 6. 1868 in Fannin county. She died Sunday. Oct. 20. in Lubbock. She had been a member of the Church of Christ since early childhood.Members of the O'Connor family wore pioneer residents of ibis-community and were well known throughout the aiea. After the death of Mr. O'Connor, Mrs. O'Connor moved: to Lubbock to make her home with a daughter. Mrs. C. E. Davis. She had been there 13 years.Mrs. Davis will be remembered here as the wife of the first Training School principal.Survivors other than Mrs. Davis include a sister, Mrs. Belle Blair, Garland, and a grandchild, Glenn Slake, Dallas.The W. Y. Goff Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
