DOMINIC A. ROMANO DEM. CANDIDATE FOR ST. REPRESENTATIVEDominic A. Romano is the regularly nominated candidate for the Democratic post of State Representative, and he is well qualified to fill the office.Mr. Romano was duly nominated to be a candidate in the general election by . the voters of the 41st Senatorial District, comprising Will and DuPage counties, while his opponent for theehprtoSt□doffice of State Representative was chosen by 2 members of the Senatorial Committee, a very irregular act. necessitated by the death of Mr. Romano’s former running mate, the Hon. Michael F. Hennebry, who was also chosen by the voters to be a candidate for this position.Mr. Romano has appealed to the courts, but has received a reversed decision upon the injunction granted him by the Hon. Edwin L. Wilson, judge of the Circuit Court, who issued the injunction restraining election oficials from placing Mr. Romano’s opponent’s name upon the ballots.“Nick” Romano, as he is commonly called, was nominated by the majority of 28,377 Democratic voters in the primary election, which total shows the large and enthusiastic following that this popular candidate has.Mr. Romano is qualified by experience and training to give a creditable account of himself as a State Legislator, and the voters will make no mistake in placing their marks before the name of Dominic A. Romano for State Representative from the 41st Senatorial District.
