The new Palace Theatre, one of Northwest Arkansas’ show places, opens tonight with Rudolph Valen tino's last picture, “Son of the Sheik.” For months past men have been working in two and three #hifte a day to complete the building and in stall furnishings and fixtures on schedule time. Last touches were being teade Thursday. Every seat was expected to be fied for the opening long before the first curtain, The Palace in one of the handsom e of theatres in this section of the country and every detail has been ob served to afford pleasing presenta tion of photoplays and comfort for patrons. It represents the ideas and ideals of W. F P. Somneman, own er of the theatre, who has given every minute of his time for the past several months to bringing his vision into reality. Careful attention has been paid to color harmony throughout and the theatre is a beauty. Some work remains to be done on other parts of the building but the theatre proper is finished and ready. The floor coverings arrived on time but there was a misunderstanding of measurementa and the floor will be bare for a few days, Otherwise nothing to lacking,
