Accident—Death. —On Thurs day evening of last week a man by the name of Justice Allen, who was in the em ploy of Mr. John Cummins on the rail road near this place, met with a very singu lar accident which resulted in his death. — It appears that he was at work assisting to repair a bridge just back of the residence of Mr. John Ryason, Sr. He?’ had occasion to cross the bridge, but just as he put his foot on one end of a sleeper the tinder flew up and struck him in the stomach, a very severe blow, causing a rupture. He was taken to the residence of his employer. Dr. Cutting was called, and every effort was used to administer relief to the unfortu nate man but without success. He died Saturday night. He was about 55 years of age, and unmarried.
