CLASSIFIED DEADLINE: Thursday 4:00 P.M. 759-2644 Shoal Lake 859-2324 (Fox 859-2324) 842-3349 Birtle OBITUARIES MUSHUMANSKI: Nettie of Rossburn, Man. passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 7, 1992 at the Russell District Hospital at the age of 82 years. Nettie was born in the Rossburn Municipality and was raised in the Ruthenia district. Nettie was a daughter of the late John and Dora Pushka. In 1929 she married Frank D. Mushumanski and they farmed in the Ruthenia district until 1976 when they retired from farming and moved to Rossburn. Nettie was predeceased by her hus band Frank D. in 1989, brothers Matt and Walter. She is survived by her son Lorne and wife Mary Mushumanski of Leaf Rapids, broth ers Fred Pushka of Rossburn, Mike and wife oe of Rossburn, John and Pushka of Birds Beausejour. The funeral service was held Saturday, Oct. 10, 1992 from the Sacred Heart of Jesus Ukrainian Catholic Church, Rossburn, with Rt. Rev. Canon John Lehky officiating. Yes followed in the parish metery. Prayers were said from the church oc Paldee . Pallbearers were Donald Konyk, Pushka, Murray Pushka, Stan Brykaliuk, Richard Bilinsky, Gerald Mushumianski. Honorary pallbearers were Mary Naherniak, Carol Mushumanski, Joe Twerdun, Nick Derkatch. Crossbearer was Johnny Pushka. Rae’s Funeral Service of Shoal Lake were in care of arrangements. SHEWCHUK: Frank Charlie Shewchuk passed away into eternal rest at the Russell District Hospital on Friday October 9, 1992 at the age of 88 years. Frank was born on March 28, 1904 in the R.M. of Rossburn. As a young man he worked for many farmers in the area. Farming was his desire. Then he married his beloved wife Lena (Gum meny) on January 21, 1934. They then took up farming and residence in the Kelloe and Vista districts. In 1960, after many years on the farm they decided to retire and built a house in Rossburn where they lived for the next 32 years Frank loved the farm life so much that he couldn't quit farming as he spent many days on the farm helping family. In 1970, Frank and Lena took up the hobby of fishing. They enjoyed many days together camping and fishing. As well in 1979 Frank and Lena took up golf ing where they became regulars on the Rossman Lake Golf Course. Frank couldn't wait until spring came to enjoy his favourite pastimes of golfing, fishing, camping and going to the farm. He is survived by his loving wife Lena (Gummeny) of 58 years. He leaves to mourn two daughters, Agnes Katchin of Brandon formerly of Angusville, and Marie Kalyniuk and husband Murray of Rossburn, as well as nine ildren, twelve great grandren, three step eee and two step — grandchildren. Also survi vend mata Chiberak of 8 Bt. in-laws Walter Woycheshin and Harvey Katchin and five brothers-in law Frank Gummeny, Andy Bayza, John Chiberak, Isaac Genovy and at the St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church in Rossburn. The funeral ser vice was held on Tuesday October 13, 1992 at the same church with Rev. Henry Uzniak officiating. Interment followed at the Roman Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers were grand son’s Brian Woycheshin of Rossburn, Randy Woycheshin of Rossburn, Kevin W of Winnipeg, Glen Katchin of Angusville, grandsons-in law Clinton Pushka of Angusville and Greg Cochrane of Silverton. Crossbearer was grandson Blaine Woycheshin of Brandon. Frank, hus band, father, brother, grandpa and friend will be remembered with a smile and affection. Rae's Funeral Home were in care of the arrange ments. “May he rest in peace.” In lieu of flowers make donations to the Cancer Society.
