Madonna Rummage Sale SetCatholic Daughters of Court Madonna of the Desert have set Oct 28 and 29 for the date' of their annual rummage sale to be held at Our Lady of Solitude's Social Hall. 460 Belardo Road. Palm Springs,.Members under the direr tion of Mrs. Jerry Austin, ways and means chairman, have been busy collecting kid gloves, alarm clocks, beauti ful clothing of all sizes and many useable articles for the sale.Co-chairmen of the event, will be Mrs. John Quinn and Mrs. John Nicholas in charge of the snack bar, Mrs. Hay ward Gar low supervising the clothing department; Mrs. James Petteson will be busy with dishes, pots, and pans, vases and silverware; Mrs. Margaret Hawley will have jewelry for sale; Mrs. Thomas Siva, children’s clothing; Mrs.Honora Daley and Mrs. Alfred Kaiser will be in charge of men's clothing and the large collection of books for sale will be maned by Mrs. Carl Hibnes.Mrs. Rene Berger, regent.and Mrs. Nicholas Coscare 111.sales chairman have asked all catholic daughters and friendsof the court for contributions and assistance in raising fundsfor the court s many charities, the scholarship fund and aid to Madonna Manor, a honn for aged catholic daughters.
