Mr. and Mrs. Leo Pross have learned that their little grand son is some improved since he has received treatment at the University Hospital, Iowa City, for polio. Willie, the 2 year old child of Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Gill of Mt. Pleasant, was taken ill on Wednesday after the family had spent the weekend here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Pross, and was taken to the hospital on Thursday. Eager Beavers The Eager Beavers 4-H Club will meet at the Little Brown Church basement on Monday evening. This is family night and the club work will be re viewed. The Cedar Center Communi ty Club is planning a meeting October 23. Guests are asked to bring sandwiches and cook ies. Coffee is being furnished. Weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Pross were their son in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Daryl Buffington of Buf falo. Royal Neighbors The Royal Neighbors will meet October 19 with Mrs. Sievert Reints. Mr. and Mrs. George Woel lert and children of Waterloo, also Mr. and Mrs. Levin Payne and family of Waterloo, were guests over the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Baldwin. Mrs. Woellert and Levin are daughter and son of Mrs. Bald Monday evening before they win, left for their new home in But- Mr. and Mrs. Jake Suddl and fate. Ma. son spent the weekend with his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Topel at Monona. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Cagley and sons attended the March ing Band contest in Manches ter, Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Usher were dinner guests in the Mr. and Mrs. Verlyn Kruger home Mr. and Mrs. Clark Prudhon of Evansdale, Wis., were guests from Tuesday to Thurs day of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. V. V. Pruhon and of her father, George Feine. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Cagley and Mr. and Mrs. Neil Thomp son were Visitors Sunday in Waterloo.
