Had there been no unrest and panic this bank would not have closed*We have ascertained that the business men of Pella did not participate In this run—not one of them withdrew his balance nor checked out more than the usual course of business demanded.*We further learn that efforts to re-open the bank will be made, and toward this end the depositors can show their approval or disapproval. The officers state that they are very confident that nothing whatever will be lost by any depositor, but that some time^ will be required, either to re-open with waivers from depositors or to pay out*This bank should not remain closed* This community needs it, and it needs the community, and the community’s support and confidence.Unrest and panic closed it* Let us calm down. Let us show our good judgment, and if possible assist in reopening the Security.In an interview with the directors, we find that they feel there was no need in the closing of the doors of this institution had it not been for the panicky feeling and unrest and lack of confidence in banks in general, due to the closing of several neighboring banks, and they still feel that there will be no loss to the depositors.The question that now concerns the public and citizens of Pella and com-t munity is, what can be done to open
