100 brides made by machinery by the Bald Eagle Brick eo.. were exhibited by their superintendent, Mr. Prank Wallace. They were of a superior quality both us to smoothness of finish and the manner in which they burn ed. No premium was offered for brick, but the committee are of the opinion that the quality an 1 price of building materials are matters of so much importance to the public generally that it must be imp'ditii; to pass them bv withovt some more durable notice than honorable mention: they therefore rccom mend the award to 'Frank Wallace, supt. Bald Kaele Brick Co.. a diploma for superior specimens of brick made by him. They would reeommed of a department to include all articles used for building purposes so that enterprise and skill may be forstered and rewarded. .....
