Approval by the Comptroller of the Currency, Washington, D.C., for Central National Bank’s new motor bank facility at the north east corner of Fairview and Garrison here was verified today by Ted B. Evans, Central National president. Construction of the new motor bank is expected to get under way in the near future with the general architectural lines to reflect a miniaturization of the bank’s main building at 300 Grant .The proposed new facility will have four drive-up service windows with pneumatic tubes, two teller windows and customer option of walk-in or drive-up banking. Personnel during banking hours will include two tellers and a bank officer. Application to establish the motor bank in the south end of the city was made early this year following announcement of a regulation authorizing branch banking facilities to be established within 4,000 yards of a principal banking building.
