Akron Zips AKRON (UPI) — Halfback! Art Bailey scored four touch downs, one a period, Saturday as the Akron Zips hammered out a 28-20 victory over Woos ter in an Ohio Conference game. The Zips defense held Woos ter scoreless until the third period when Quarterback Bob Whitaker passed 36 yards to End Jim Dennison for a Wooster touchdown. Bailey racked up 99 garie rushing in 15 carries. The Zips piled up 182 yards rushing and 133 passing on 10 completions of 17 passes. Wooster had 225 yards rushing and 82 in the air on four of 10 pass comple tions. Both teams registered 18 first downs. Wooster’s attack caught fire in the final period when the Scots scored twice. Halfback Tommy Dingle sparked a 69-yard drive and took a pass in the end zone for a TD. Halfback Ron Ly ons went in for the Scots fi nal TD from the one.
