FHED CEAPMAN SUBPOENAED ON ARRIVAL AT ST. MICHAELUpon his arrival at St Michael on his way Outside last Auj»ut, Fred Chapman was served with a subpoena to appear at Fairbanks a* a witness in the trial of Join Cooper, since convicted of the minder of William Wimbish. It appeals from the published testimony that Commissioner Dillon had picked np three false teeth from the ashes of a tire which had been used to consume the remains Chapman testified that he had employed Wimbish in the early days , ol Fairbanks, and on one occasion | had lent him $10 lor the purpose ol having his teeth fixed.After the liial was .over, Chapman left for Outside via Dawson.
