The Corn Pickers all played good ball especially the playing of first and second by Lanham and Henry Lind who made several double plays and a few tripple stunts. But then when it is considered that that they had been practicing all summer it might be expected of them. Biggs pitched a good game from start to finish and some of those curves would put a rainbow out of joint. The fa t of the mat ter is it was q. good game the All Stars showing that they need a little practice while the Corn Huskers. deserved all they got. The only wonder is that they didn’t swipe score board and all. They only gave us four out of seventeen as it was.
