Hughes, 5.3, of Mosquito Hollow Road, Six Mile Run, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2013, at UPMC Hospital, Altoona.She was born on Feb. 10, 1960, in Roaring Spring, a daughter of the late Earl and May (Taylor) Harding.She is survived by her soul mate of 15 years,Clyde G. Price, and the following family: two daughters, Amanda Sue, married to Rick Potter, of Everett; Melissa Ann Barton of Everett; three grandchildren, Rick Potter Jr., Brandy Potter and Brianna Shipley, all of Everett. She is survived by six sisters and three brothers.Bernice was of the Protestant faith. She spent most of her working years working in the housekeeping field in motels and private homes.Her special love was spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed crafting and dancing.Family and friends may call at Akers Funeral Chapel, 715 Church Street, Saxton, on Friday, Oct. 11, from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday, Oct. 12, from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral chapel.Funeral service will be held at Akers Funeral Chapel on Saturday, Oct. 12, at 11 a.m. with Rev.
