LIMA—Findlay High's junior varsity football team, scoring only one touchdown in its last 16 quarters, fell to Lima Senior Saturday on a 73-yard touchdown pass. Mike Fahi hit Cullen Daniel late in the fourth period to hand the Trojans their fourth loss and a tie in five outings. Walter Schramm led the defensive unit with 11 tackles for FHS while Wayne Eaton had eight, Dan Eaton seven and Bruce Heater, Steve Linhart and Todd Van Gunten six apiece. Lima gained 60 yards rushing and 78 passing while Findlay had 111 yards on the ground and 54 through the air. Van Gunten had 38 yards, Tim Leek 29, Tim Yoder 17, Randy Smaltz 13 and Jeff Essinger 10. Yoder was 4-16 passing with two interceptions. Craig Gephart had two catches for 33 yards and Jim Iliff one for 20 yards. Findlay hosts Marion at 10 a.m. Saturday in Donnell Stadium.
