(By the Associated Press), ATLANTA, Ga., Oct. 18.—Rev. Caleb Ridley, known as the im perial Kludd of the Ku Klux Klan and former pastor of an Atlanta church, was arrested here late yesterday by the police on charge of being drunk and operating an automobile. The arrest was made by Motorcycle Officer L. E. Shumate, who said that in the machine driven by Dr. Ridley were two small bot tles of whisky. In police station Dr. Ridley stated that he had driven out in to the country when he was ac costed by a man who offered to give him some whisky. He stated that he accepted the whisky, and before starting to town he took a drink.
