BLUE ISLAND LODGESWITCHMEN’S UNIONRAISES SERVICE FLAGlA service flap: with stars for seventeen members in good standing of Blue Island Lodge No. 20, Switchmen’s Union of North America, was raised last Sunday at Moose Hall with appropriate ceremonies. The honor of raising the flag was given to C. A. Keuhn, who performed the rite as the V e r w e r sisters sang “The Star Spangled Banner.The master of ceremonies was John19HG. Reiordan, attorney, of Lodge 90, Chicago. Treasurer Frank Connors of Lodge 68 also assisted. John Clayton, chairman of the Labor movement of the State Council of Defense,was present and gave a good, plain talk on the problems of the war and the necessity to put over the fourth Liberty Loan.The members whose stars stand for their names on this honor roll are:H.
