The corner-stone of the new VT. N. O. station, here, was laid Tueday afternoon, October 17th, by H. M. Martin, General Superintendent of Construction for the VT. N. O. Rail way. There were no formal cere monies attached to the laying of the stone. Last week's issue of The Ad vance was placed beneath the stone. The construction of this station is believed to cost within the neighbor hood of $35,000, and when completed will be one of the finest of its kind s in the northland.
