Hr. Grace ReservistOn Short FurloughWas on the Dreadnought Benbow InThe North SeaSamuel Crocker, a naval reservist from Hr. Grace, arrived by the F’ori-zel last evening. He has been given15 days leave and as his ship was at Halifax he decided to spend his vacation with friends at home, and he left for there by this morning’s train. Crocker was with the first batch ofreservists to leave here for England and was drafted to the great dreadnought the Benbow.The Benbow is in the second classof Britain’s wonderful warships which are known as the Iron Duke Class.She is 25,000 tons, was completed last vear and carries a crew of 900men.He was the only Newfoundlanderon her. Several months were spent jon this ship, her whereabouts of course being a secret.
