OK Airport NegotiationsI tie Arlington C ity Council Tuesday night authorized negotiations between the cityand Arlington fxicutlv** \ir. Inc., one of two local bi i ers, for operation and rianag-ment of the Arlington Municipal Airport, with the contract to be awarded at a later date# The corporation, apparent high bidder, is capitalized ir the state of Texas for 100,— 000 and proposes to spend$100,000 in improvements for the facility.The other bidder was A ir-motive Associates, who proposed initial capital invest-ment of $79,200, The bid was submitted by Rex, L, Snell of Arlington and 1 dward VV, Warynick of Fort Worth.Arlington Executive Air stockholders include SRO Asphalt, with offices in Arlington, William A . Rowan of Fort worth and William G, Turner,Their bid on gas and oil was $.045 per gallon a nd/or 10 per cent of gross receipts and 10 per cent for T-iiangarsand tie-down space. Their bidona maintenance and storage hangar was $67.30 monthly payment and/or 10 per cent of gross receipts. Bid for food and drink concessions was 10 per cent of gross receipts,and $50 per month rental on operation of the terminal building.Their combined bid wa s $350 per mefnth. The combined bid for Air motive Associates was $200 per month.An initial capital investment of $102,000 at the airport by Executive Air excludes a $67,-500 airplane whicn the corporation will base there.
