Hugh Lee White of Cosby, age 49, former resident of Burlington Junc tion, died at 7:45 o'clock this morn ing at the St. Francis hospital where he had been a patient for the past three weeks. Prior to this hospital ization he had been a patient since February in the Wabash hospital of Moberly. Mr. White was born July 9, 1900, the son of Hugh and Myra White. He was an employe for 27 years of the Wabash railroad. He was a mem ber of the Elks lodge and the Brotherhood of Maintenance Way Employes Survivors include three sons, George, Harlan and Bobby of the home; two sisters, Mrs. Roy Whited, Guilford, and Mrs. Will Oliver, Brad dyville, Ta. an employe of the St. Francis hospital; a brother, Earl White, Shenandoah, Ta., and a half brother, Clarence Hudsonpillar, Con cordia, Kas. The body was removed to Shenan doah. Funeral arrangements are in complete.
