Three Negro Women Furnish Morning Matinee in Recorder’s Court Tuesday.Judge Price held a real live session of recorder’s court this morning, when there were four cases on the docket for trial.Daisy Miller, a negro woman, was arraigned on a charge of disorderly conduct and after hearing all of the evidence in tho case, Judge Price sentenced her to pay a fine of $5.75 or ten'days in the stockado, Daisy and another negro woman got Into a fight over Daisy’s husband and Daisy bit che other negro woman on the hand.Omie Williams, another negro woman, was arraigned on a charge of disorderly conduct and af£cr having heard all of the evidence in the case she was fined $1 or two days in tho stockade by Judge Price. Omie and another negro woman had an argument and it was settled before Judge Price.Rosa Hitchcock, another negro woman, was arraigned on a charge of running a disorderly house. It was stated that this negro woman had a white man in her . house Sunday nightind that she and the man had a fight at about 1 o’clock in the morning and that the other negroes in the neighborhood had a case made against her.When the case was called one of the witnesses stated that she lived icxt door to Rosa and that she heard Rosa and the white man fussing and :hat she called Rosa and told her that she would make a case against her if she did not have the noise stopped. The witness then stated that Bho heard Rosa tell the white man that he had gotten her into trouble and that ho would have to leave before.he police got to the house. The witless' further stated that the man did lot leave the house until one of the :ity policemen came and took him out it 1 o’clock Monday afternoon.Rosa Stated that the man had not rome to the house to see her, but that he came to the house to'ace another legro who lived in the house with her and that she had tried in oydry way to make him leave. There was no 'ase made against the white man and Rosa was sentenced to pay a fine,of WO or serve sixty days in the stock-
