Democratic County Convention.I The Democratic County Convention I convened at Malone on Wednesday last, I and nominated a county ticket. The fol-I lowing are the proceedings: Wm. P. Creed j was elected chairman of the Convention I and Thomas Cantwell, secretary. On mo-I tion of Leonard Bush, seconded by J. C.I Saunders, Ernest G. Reynolds of Bombay. I waa nominated for Member of Assembly. I Matt C Ransom of Port Covington wasI then nominated for District Attorney, andI John W. Lyons of Constable, for Justice I of Sessions. The Convention adopted a resolution that hereafter Justices of Sessions shall only hold office one term. Dr. George L. Jordan of Burke, was then selected as *he candidate for Coroner.The same town committees who served last year were re-elected, except as to Malone, which are as follows: 1st district, Louis Munger; 2d district, Timothy S. Donohoe,' 3d district, Ira A. Drake; 4th district, J. A. DayisThe County Committee was then organized as follows: Nelson W. Porter, chairman, William P. Creed, Wm. P. Cantwell. Jr., W. P. Lyucli, Leyi Peake, J. C. Saunders. T. Cantwell, W. H. Webster, Dr. Ralph Erwin, W. S L\wrence, Wm. Lavaruway.The Convention then adopted resolutions Iheartily approving of the State and Nation- ]al Administrations, and their respective policies, and endorsing the nomination ofJudge Rufus W Peckhara for Jndge otthe Court of Appeals.The Convention was enthusiastic andharmonious.
