Andrew BornhofenAndrew M. Bornhofen, 62, of 2670 Forest Glen Tr., Deerfield, executive vice president and treasurer of Anetsberger Brothers Inc., manufacturers of bakers’ ovens and supplies, Northbrook, was pronounced dead on arrival early Friday morning at Highland Park Hospital, Highland Park, after an apparent heart attack. He was born Aug. 26, 1910, in Buffalo Grove and was formerly a longtime resident of Des Plaines.Funeral Mass will be said at 10:30 a.m.today in Holy Cross Catholic Church, Waukegan Road and Elder Lane, Deerfield. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.Oehler Funeral Home, Lee and Perry streets, Des Plaines, is in charge of thefuneral arrangements.Surviving are his widow, Virginia R., nee Shanks; sons, James A. of Mount Prospect and Robert J. of Denner, Calif.; daughter, Mrs. Marie A. (Albert) Laufer of Arlington Heights; two grandchildren; brother, John of Dee Plaines; three sisters, Eleanor Bornhofen of Des Plaines, Mrs. Susan Grewe and Mrs. Mary Helffrich, both of Park Ridge.Mr. Bornhofen was a member of American Gas Association Hall of Flame; American Institute of Bakers; American Bakers Association; Bakers Courtesy Club; Bakers Club of Chicago; American Society of Bakery Engineers; Associated Retail Bakers of America; Bakery Equipment Manufacturers Association; International Trade Club andU.S. Chamber of Commerce.Family requests, in lieu of flowers,masses preferred.
