The Primitive Baptist Associ ation will convene at Mt. Olive P. B. Church on the corner of Jones and Fletcher Streets in Thomasville. This Association will begin October 21st, thru October 26th. Opening session will began Tuesday at 10:00 A.M. Let's come out and make this association one of the best, Rev. Jimmy Williams, Pastor; Mrs. Ethel Thompson, Secre tary. On October 3, 1969, Col. Wash ington of Florida AM present ed to the family of PFC Larry A. Graham. the following me dals; The Bronze Star, The Purple Heart, Good Conduct- -Bravery, Sharp Shooting-Rifleman, Nat ional Defense and several more. There was no ceremony, Col. Washington ‘presented’ them quitely at the home of his pa rents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Graham, and son Maurice. The Friendship Missionary Baptist Church #2 Choir now celebrating its first anniver sary extends to all, a cordial welcome in coming out to join in the celebration. Beginning at 8:00 P.M. tonight, there will be a musical pro gram with some of Tallahassee top vocal groups appearing. On Friday night--besides from the regular scheduled guest, appearing as special guest will be Mrs. Ogletree, Manager, Lerner Shop of Tallahassee. Replacing Beulah Hill of Quit man who was originally sche duled to appear on Sunday, will be Reverend Bruce and con gregation of Mt. Olive AME Church.
