WW Lions Run Wild Over BeltonThe Wilson White Lions had another field day with a 54-16 win over Belton in a game played here Wednesday, Oct. 7.The Lions racked up 14 firstdowns to Belton’s 8, and intercepted four passes. They completed seven pa-ses out of ninethrown.Dan Thornton had another yard gaining spree, making 108yards rushing, averaging 7.9 yards per carry. Bobby Veal totaled 56 yards for the Lions.Percy Phoenix ran up 40 yards, with Eddy Grate making 13 and A. D. Whitfield and Richard Dixon each making 7.Tomorrow' night the Lions areto meet Taylor’s 0.
