More than 150 persons turned out to honor the Edgewood High school baseball team at a dinner Monday night in the school gymnasium. The Edgewood nine was the first athletic team fom the school ever to reach the semifinals of any state tournament. They lost to Dysart, 4 to 1, in the final game of the Iowa state high school baseball tournament semifinals last week. At the banquet, spon sored by the Edgewood Commercial club, the players were introduced to the audience and movies of the Iowa-Kansas football game were shown. (Telegraph-Herald Photo)
