Kinney Cooper Ohioana Library at a meeting held in the office of Dean Irma E. Voigt of Ohio University, Thursday afternoon. The meeting Thursday whs the flrst held by the county committee since ita formation a few weeks ego.To obtain a complete Hat ofAthena County writ era, the Athena | County Committee urges any auth-| ora in the county, or any personknowing of writers born and reared• *In Athens County, to inform Mrs.! John Fin*terwald, county chairman Faculty members on the county group were named as a committee I to Hat the worka of Ohio University profeasors and to seek the contribution of booka written by them.Members of the committee are to appear before clubs with which they I are affiliated, and to ask for the contributions of hooka written by Ohio people. To facilitate the work of the county committee, representatives from other towns in Athena ; County will be appointed by Mrs. Finsterwald, chairman.Miss Helen Townsend, Athens was named as a member of the county committee at the meeting. At the suggestion of the county chairman, Dean Edwin Watts Chubb and Prof. A. A, Atkinson, j members of the state committee, were designated as an advisorycommittee to the Athens County jCommittee. ;Thlt;? object of the library is to j gather books written by Ohio authors or books by authors who have written about Ohio.
