Charles Johnson Wires from McCarty: Had Diffi culty on Trip. Thought to be lost for the past two weeks, Charles Johnson and two other men, who were returning from the Chisana country, reported yes terday from McCarty. Mr. Johnson: sent a wire to his daughter, Mrs. Blanche Martin, informing her of his arrival at the first telegraph station and stating that he would come to Fairbanks in the near future. In his wife, Mr. Johnson also stated that his boat had upset three times and that he had a hard trip all the way downriver. Nothing has been heard from the party, which included Mr. and Mrs. William Zacharias and two other men, who left the Chisana during the early part of last month, and it is not known whether the Johnson party saw anything of them, as nothing was said about them in the wire.
