RICHARD FOSTERRichard Poster, son of Jeremiah and Elizabeth Poster, was born in Warren county on August 17, 1831 and died at his home in Hoopeston, 111. on October 7, 1914. His demise was due to exhaustion. A few days previous to his death he was attacked by achill. This, with a slight fever, which was of but a few hours duration, paved the way . for his entrance ■ into the iinal, slumber in eternity. His strength failed gradually until the hour of death.On June 9, 1859 he was married to Miss Mahala Smiley and to this union were born fifteen children, twelve of whom survive. Mrs. Poster died in June 1913.The deceased was a resident of Warren county for the greater prt of'his life having moved to Hoopeston only twenty-five or thirty years ago. He will well be remem-^ bered by the older residents of the vicinity.Services were held in the Methodist Episcopal church at Hoopeston Friday afternoon at two o'clock, the pastor of that church officiating. Interment was made in the ' Hoopeston cemetery.
