It seems to be the general belief that the present government ot R. C. will prove a good one and the best for the country that we haveever had. If McBride lives up to#the platform of the party, which undoubtedly he will, the province will be well governed for the next four years. The government have a majority of two over all and on most of the measures that will be introduced we think the two Socialists will support the government. The Clarion says: “ While the Clarion cannot speak for the Socialist party, it is of the opinion that Comrades Hawthornthwaite and Williams will support the Conservatives or any other government which will give the workers of the province the most in their interests.”rs t* i •
