Harbor Light.—We have heard very strong and well-founded complaints about the light being repeatedly missing at the end of the harbor pier. One such instance happened last Monday morning when it was very dark on the water and the steamer Sheboygan had great difficulty in reaching the harbor in safety. We think it is no more than right that the keeper of that light should do his duty faithfully, and never fail, under any circumstances ; there is too much at stake in such an important and much frequented harbor as this, to consider the duties of a light-keeper lightly at any time, and we sincerely hope that our harbor officers will see to it immediately, that the duties of the light-keeper will be fully executed, so that no further complaints may ever be heard or danger or loss incurred.
