Wever (nee Rea), a63-year resident of Chicago Heights, died Monday, Oct. 12, at Christ Hospital and Medical Center, Oak Lawn.A service will be at 1 p.m. today at Hirsch Funeral Homes Lincolnway Chapel, Matteson, with Chaplain Ray Deabel officiating. Interment will be in Beverly Cemetery, Blue Island.Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at Hirsch Funeral Homes Lincolnway Chapel, Matteson.The former Ceceilia Rea was born Oct. 13, 1916, in McCool Junction, Neb. She was a hairdresser; a seamstress; had been employed in a dress shop in Chicago Heights; was poll worker for elections; and was active in community affairs.She is survived by a daughter, Monica (Ronald) Becker of McHenry; a son, Russ of Independence, Mo.; five sisters, Agnes Ayoub of Grand Island, Neb., Peggy Meyers of Sacramento, Calif., Eileen (Gene) Esch of Mesa, Ariz., Roseanne Buittner of Grand Island, Neb., and Loyola Borowiak of York, Neb.; three brothers, Thomas (Jerry) Rea of Seward, Neb., Gene (Shirley) Rea of Crete, Neb., and Charles (Judy) Rea of Houston, Texas; fivegrandchildren; three greatgrandchildren; and a dear friend, Marion Urban of South Chicago Heights.Her husband, Paul, died in1988.
