Tbeir business has increased.Highland has consistently kept food prices low and still featured only the highest quality products available.Highland Grocery and Market was opened in 1 o4G by Ton) P. Bennett arid his brotheiClyde. At that time the business was more or less an “oldfashioned” grocery store with counters, aid the merchandise on shelves behind the counters. There was a soda fountainwith soft drinks, hamburgers,etc. A drug store was in thesame building but with a separate entrance. By doing so, they cut iperating expenses by about 40 c.The store now stocks allnationally advertised food products and features the famous BAH S line of meats.
