TIMME-REED WEDDINGThe Cathedral of Ft. Wavne, was the scene of a very pretty wedding Wednesday morning when Miss Loretta Reed became the bride of John ' Timme. To the wedding march of*' “Lohengrin the bride entered with , her father, John J. Reed, preceded by her attendant. Miss Augusta Timme. Raymond Getz and the bridegroom met the bride at the alter. The church was decorated with ferns and ' i palms. Rev. P. F. Roache sang the i nuptial mass. The bride wore a j beautiful imported gown of white satin trimmed with duchess lace. On her head she wore a white hat made of silk braid and trimmed with a 1 handsome willow plume. She held a i white prayerbook and a beautiful * rosary, a bridal gift. Miss Timme J .wore acream gown of crepe de chine trimmed with lace and tiny buttons, j l She wore a large white hat and held a ^ 1 bouquet of pink rosebuds. After the wedding service the immediate re- { latives and bridal party went to- the r home of the bride's parents at 224 H. , Columbia Street, where a wedding 1 breakfast was served, The house j was decorated with palms, ferns, lt;chrysanthemums, carnations- and i roses. The colors of pink and white lt;prevailed. The breakfast table was decorated with the bride’s cake, ' carnations and chrysanthemums for .the centerpiece and smilax on the cloth and festooning the chandeliers. Mr. and Mrs. Timme left this morn- , ing for a few weeks trip in the north. Mr. Timme is the son of Mrs. Barbara ■ Timme, of this place, and is a most excellent young man. lie has been engaged in the restaurant business for years and is the only man who remained in the business and prospered, lie is obliging and gentlemanly which wins for him a host of friends. A short time ago he decided to sell his business here and locate in Ft. Wayne. Accordingly, he purchased a pretty home in Lakeside and' will; go to housekeeping there after return- lt;ing from the wedding trip.
