DEATH OF JOHNUDELHOFEN, SR.John Udelhofen, Sr., a well known German-American citizen, died at his residence, Cherry street, this city, at 5 :45 o’clock last evening after a week’s illness.The deceased was 80 years of age and except for ttie infirmities due to advancing years up to a receut date was in good health. On Thursday of last week he was out on the street.Mr. Udelhofen was horn in Germany. Ho came to tins country in 1854. Soon after landing lie came to Danville, where he has since resided. He was a tailor by occupation and is well remembered as one of the cutters employed in the company store under Waterman Beaver.He is survived by his widow, two sous, Charles and John, aud three daughters, Miss Elizabeth of Harrisburg; Miss Anna and Mrs. George Lechner of this city.
