Ticket deadlineTasting bee ThursdayOak Crest Woman’s Club promises a culinary tour of several continents in both hemispheres at its “Around the World Tasting Bee” Thursday at the Woman's Club Building, 1616 Precinct Line Road.The tasting bee, the club’s primary fund raising event, is an annual project which involves all departments in the organization.Tickets may be purchased from club members or by contacting Mrs. Marshall R. Smith, finance chairman, or the club hostess, Mrs. Lewis Easterling, at 282-9411. No tickets will be sold at the door. Deadline for ticket purchases is Monday 6 p.m.Tickets entitle the purchasers to select from a smorgasbord of international foods served from booths decorated to represents countries chosen by each department.
