Initiate Freshman Girls Into Y-TeensInitiation of the freshman girls took place at the last Y-Teen meeting. After the girls had dione their initiation stunts the three best costumes were chosen. Dorothy Kingsley, dressed as Mr. Tremblechin from the comic strip, “Iodine”, was first, while Verna Davis, dressed as Bathless Groggins, was second. Jerry Cash placed third by being dressed as Sweet Pea from the comic, Popeye”.Janelle Thomas is the club’s representative to the Y-Teen conference in Fort Dodge Oct. 16. She has been nominated for the position as district treasurer.In the business meeting it was decided that the Y-Teen Club would sponsor a party on Friday, Oct. 22, after the Manson game. It will be a combined Halloween and Homecoming party.
