Mrs. Robert Brainerd of Rock Falls, vice president of the White side county council of P. T. A., was in attendance at the council meet ing.In Prophetstown Monday eve ning. She was accompanied by Mrs. Lillian Willett, president of the Rock Falls P. T. A. Mrs. Francis Jen nings, vice president of the Rock Falls P.T. A. Mrs. Harry Scheid ler and Robert Brainerd, Jr. Seventy-five were in attendance at the meeting, including some rur al schools invited by Prophetstown. Two new P. T. A. groups were re ported having joined the council, Albany and Deer Grove: ‘The project of the council this year is to work for parents to do away with comic books for their children. Mrs. L. E. Chapin of Tampico, council president, was in charge of the meeting.
