Hampton, Va., Oct. 2.—'Thirty-odd enthusiastic candidates for football, ii; eluding Captain Rc-d” Dabney, American center, ex-Captain Coleman and six other varsity men of last seas-on’s team, donned football fogs at the first call of tiro Hampton coaches, is-| sued on Thursday afternoon, September 28.The Hampton football material looks very promising and a fighting team is tlie future outlook.The first game of thlo season will played with Morgan College Baltimore, Md., at Hampton on October 14. This is the first time that the Marylanders” have invaded'the Lower Peninsula of Virginia.
