$2000 FOR GREENVILLE\Kuml to be Usetl for Episcopal Negro Congregation Here.The correspondent of the Living Church, of Milwaukee, reports from the general convention of the Episcopal church in St. Louis, that the Board of Missions has appropriated $2.*(KM) to be used for the work of the negro congregation of the church i£ Greenville.Dr. Philip ffavidson. cf St. James church here, who has been holding services for the benefit of the negro members of the Episcopal church at colored school No. 2, is of the opinion that this fund will be usefl for the purpose of assisting in the building of a church here for the negromembers. ' * . 1 - .Arch-Deacon Edw. Middleton, of Vicksburg, who is in charge of the work here, is expected to be in Greenville shortly when definite plans will be reached.There are quite a few members of the Episcopal church in and near Greenville.
