DEATH OF MBS. JOHN ORB-Death, O death, how we shudder to unk of thee. Though we know there is bright beyond far better than this orld of sorrow, the bravest must trem-e to think of the dark and silent cham-5r, through which all must pass; the lamber which no sound penetrates, at once entered all is dark and silent,I oblivion to the sound of living voices, bere the many words of friends d enemies come not; where the ambling voice of age and the merry attle of happy children are never heard; bere the blooming flowers, the bright ushine, the gladsome day, as well as Ihng snows or withered leaves and mpests fierce, pass unnoted by. Death always sad, but to us the saddest of I is when his dark fingers grasp the nd mother of little children, bearing ray on his cruel bosom the best and rarest friend on eaith, whose loving re is so much needed in guidance rough a wicked world. One of the Bad-st homes in all this land to-day is that Mr. John Orr, where a hnsbaud ieves for a faithful wife, and four little ildren mourn for one whose place all e world cannot supply. Mrs. John Orr cd last Sunday evening of typhoid fever, e was a Christian woman, and it must a consolation to those who mourn think that as the evening ttars ^eep-out to listen while church hells rang t on soft October breezes, the spirit of sir darling floated up and up with its ho, to greet loved ones that had gone fore, and where two bright, sunny little :es had waited long for mother’s com-“God doeth all things well,*’ they f, and it may be that a seeming cruelw will prove tho gentle touch to draw inited family to that‘‘other land where sorrow is, and where darkness never mes.” We hope so.
