CUSriS-6 KING.We hive had an opportunity of inspecting the King, made by Vtr Grccnhury (Jaither, enclosing a lock of the hair of General Washington, which Mr Cut-is presented to General La Fayette.The r ng is of solid gold, and perfectly plain hut neat workmanship On the inner surface of it is the following inscription, beautifully engraved:LA FAYETTE.1777.Pro novi orbit liberta'e riecerUbat Jnveni*.b.abilitm Senex Inrenit.1824.On the face of the ring, surrounding thehair, are the words, «• Pater Patriae:** and on another aide, the words, ••Mount Ver non ** 1'hia is an appropriate, and must be a highly acceptable gift.
