(From front page) A fourth defendant, 18-year- old Clifford Johnny Taylor, was indicted this summer and is being held without bond. Glover’s mother Gail Loy was indicted and charged for alleged ly trying to cover up the crime. Loy and Glover lived directly behind Sumner’s house in Savoy. In other action, the grand jury indicted a man for killing two brothers in a single-vehicle acci dent in May. Dewey Gibson was indicted on two counts of sec ond-degree manslaughter for the accident that killed Ernest Gray and his brother Clovis Gray. Police said at the time neither brother was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, which occurred on Kentucky 92 east about 18 miles from Williams burg. Trimble said Gibson was dri ving at a high rate of speed and had drugs and alcohol in his sys tem at the time of the accident. The grand jury also indicted a local doctor for obtaining drugs by fraud. Nikhil Parulekar was indicted for allegedly forging another doctor’s name to a pre scription. Trimble said the pre scription was for a person they have not been able to locate. Parulekar was indicted because he presented the prescription to be filled, Trimble said. Finally, the grand jury indict ed a Williamsburg man accused of chasing a woman, forcing her off the road, beating and robbing her before kidnapping her at gunpoint. Clarence Joey Lawson was indicted for second-degree assault, first-degree robbery, kidnapping, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon and first-degree persistent felony offender for the September 16 incident in east ern Whitley County. Police said Lawson and the victim, Debbie Hurst, had a recent personal relationship prior to the incident. Hurst was not seriously injured but lost an amount of cash during the inci dent and was held at gunpoint for a period of time.
