Local Plowmen Take Part In County MatchUnited Counties Join Ontario AssociationThe United Counties of Northumberland and t Durham has become a member of a 24 county association pledged to seek legislation to revitalize and expand county government services.The inaugural meeting of the Association of Ontario Counties was held in Hamilton Wednesday. Reeve Joseph Sams of Water down was elected president. Present from the United Counties were Warden E. R. The judge stated that he felt the best work in the match was that of Don Tinney. a beginner under, coaching of an experienced father. Other excellent work was that of W. Calvert who has recently come to Northumber-land from Yorkshire in England. The Eaton trophy for best land by competitor over 14 and under 18 was won by Paul Macklin.
