Donations may be left at the Methodist church basement in the morning or those having contributions may contact Miss Rose Morris, Liquor Nuisance.—Sheriff's and city officials seized a case of Iowa whiskey, two fifths of Iowa whiskey and six cases of beer at the Cassie Knight home, 204 Elm street, in a reid about 12:30 yes terday afternoon, according to Sheriff Harry Jordan. Knight, charged in justice court with main taining a liquor nuisance, was re leased under $300 bond. Asks Divorce. — Ernestine A. Hyndman has a filed suit in dis trict court here for divorce from Raymond L. Hyndman, whom she charges with cruelty and drunken ness. According to the petition, the couple was married at Wiota Aug. 25, 1926, and separated last Friday. The plaintiff asks pos session of household goods and the family car and that the de fendant be assessed are-half the costs of the action. Visitor Leaves.—Mrs. C. C. Burwell of Los Angeles, who has been visiting with M. E. and Sue O'Dea and other friends here, left today for Des Moines to join her husband and after spending sev eral days there, they will go to Chicago. While Mr. Burwell looks after his farm in Ohio, Mrs. Bur well and her aunt will visit in New York City and Washington, D. C. several weeks, and en route home Mr. and Mrs. Burwell will visit Gulfport, Miss., and New Orleans. Six Birthdays.—Mr. and Mrs. Leo Pross and son, Thomas, of Mt. Pleasant, who were called here to attend funeral services for their nephew, Virgil Pross, last week, remained to attend an annual gathering held in October to ob serve the birthdays of six mem bers of their family, which took place Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Armstrong at Fontanelle. Those whose birth days fall in the month are Mrs. Armstrong, Fred Ratcliff and Ernest Warren of Des Moines, Mrs. Jack Hoover of Maine, Leo Picken, Atlantic, and Leo Pross.
