Black Pugilist Initiated in Dundee. Jack Johnson did two things today which he had never done before. He was made a Mason of Dundee, and incidentally paid his first visit to Scotland. Both events gave him intense gratification. The pugilist was in great form socially. The Masons were charmed with him. Everything he did pleased them—his patter in broken English, his simile, and his golden teeth . The giant racing car was the only side of his non-professional character which was not on exhibition. Johnson’s visit was a flying one, as he travelled over from New castle by train.
